Rupert Francisco, J.D. is a nationally recognized legal and business strategist with more than four decades of experience advising entrepreneurs, entertainers, athletes, and high growth companies. As President of J E Holdings, LLC, the only African American–owned Asset Protection firm in the United States, Rupert is widely regarded as one of the country’s leading authorities on Asset Protection, Corporate Formation, and Wealth Strategy.

Legal Foundation & Historic Firsts
Rupert began his career as a trailblazer. After earning his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, he became the first and youngest African American attorney ever to open a law practice in Century City (1983). As head of litigation, he expanded his firm from one to three offices in just six years, representing clients across business, entertainment, and real estate.
Earlier, as a California State Assembly Fellow, Rupert became one of the state’s foremost experts on Crime Victims Compensation legislation, earning special recognition from the California State Legislature.
His academic achievements include being the first undergraduate in UC Riverside history permitted to pursue a Master’s Degree in Political Science while still completing his bachelor’s degree. His groundbreaking demographic study, Third World Population in California (1977), accurately predicted the state’s future population trends and remains archived at UC Berkeley.
